A wise art teacher shared with me many years ago that black..is not really black. It's darkness is an absorption of all colors. You can see that when the sunlight hits the feather- or in the case of Oscar our very black and white cat, when he's out sunning himself, hints of blue, even red undertones come to light. Perhaps more than what you wanted to know...thank you Sr. Audrey. You changed my lens.
